Recent notice from Life Shield Alliance states that the service will be discontinued as of July 31, 2016.

All of the benefits and company discounts of being a Lifeshield Alliance member are still in place
(www.lifeshieldalliance.com/benefits), including the $10,000 insurance benefit for medically necessary flights anywhere in the United States that occur through July 31st, 2016.

We are disappointed that the insurance underwriter, Federal Insurance Company (“FIC”), determined not to provide coverage beginning Aug 1, 2016. FIC will be preparing and sending pro-rated refund amounts sometime
after August 1st. We are working through the logistics of this with FIC and are investigating other coverage options to protect you in the event of a medical crisis. We will be in touch as soon as possible with more details about potential air evacuation coverage options or pro-rated refunds.
